Keeping The Lights On at The Epsom Playhouse

  • Epsom Playhouse Epsom (map)

I’m once again preparing to be almost live in your living room, with my new YouTube concert, Keeping The Lights On, recorded in front of a small but enthusiastic live audience this autumn. For my third ‘lockdown’ jazz concert, I’m celebrating the darkened playhouses of the West End and Broadway with a tribute to the legends of musical theatre, past and present.

I can’t promise any dance routines - but from the early days of Irving Berlin to the intimate charm of My Fair Lady and even the epic sweep of Phantom of the Opera, you can expect an evening of theatrical magic, all conjured by me and a beautiful Steinway grand piano.

Theatres have had a tough time recently, and this show is presented in aid of Keeping the Lights On at Epsom Playhouse. It will be available to stream from 7pm on Tuesday 17th until 10pm on Thursday 19th November. For more information on how to watch and donate, visit www.andrewdbrewis.com/epsom.
