Keeping The Lights On at Your Venue
Support your venue by streaming a pre-recorded show
to your loyal local audience
I’ve had great success presenting two special shows over YouTube this summer for local theatres. First there was Live In Your Living Room for the Riverhouse Barn in Walton-on-Thames, then Seaside Serenade for the Southwold Arts Centre in Suffolk.
Now, for my third ‘lockdown’ jazz concert, I’m celebrating the darkened playhouses of the West End and Broadway with a tribute to the legends of musical theatre, past and present. And this time, I’m recording the show in front of a small but enthusiastic live audience at the Riverhouse Barn.
Once it’s recorded, I will make the show available to local theatres across the UK to share with their loyal audiences. It’s my way of helping you to - well - keep the lights on!
How it works
It’s really simple:
We schedule a weekend to make the show available to stream on YouTube.
The concert, with a specially recorded introduction for your venue, will stream for 48 hours from 7pm on the Friday evening so that viewers can pick a time that suits them to watch.
You market it to your website, your social media, and your local mailing list, encouraging them to watch the concert and make a donation through my website.
We share the proceeds at a rate to be agreed.

About the show
I love this music, and I’ve been playing it all my life. I can’t promise any dance routines - but from the intimate charm of My Fair Lady to the epic sweep of Les Misérables, you can expect an evening of theatrical magic, all conjured by me and a beautiful Steinway grand piano.
This is a chance to see and hear me perform the classic Broadway songbook in a distinctly British style that I’ve honed over 30 years and four continents. And from the best seats in the house, too — your house.
So, put on your favourite slippers, grab the rustliest bag of sweets you like and have your evening out – in! Just fire up YouTube on your favourite Smart TV, tablet or computer and let me transport you to the West End.
Keeping the Lights On will be available to stream from 7pm on Friday until 10pm on Sunday of the agreed weekend. ‘Admission’ is free, but this year has been hard on both performing artists and the venues they call home. Your audience can do their bit towards keeping the lights on by clicking the button and making a donation, which will be shared between me and you - their favourite venue.
