I’m once again preparing to be almost live in your living room, with my new Youtube concert, Keeping The Lights On, recorded in front of a small but enthusiastic live audience this autumn. For my third ‘lockdown’ jazz concert, I’m celebrating the darkened playhouses of the West End and Broadway with a tribute to the legends of musical theatre, past and present.

I can’t promise any dance routines - but from the early days of Irving Berlin to the intimate charm of My Fair Lady and even the epic sweep of Phantom of the Opera, you can expect an evening of theatrical magic, all conjured by me and a beautiful Steinway grand piano.

I love this music, and I’ve been playing it all my life. This is a chance to see and hear me perform the classic Broadway songbook in a distinctly British style that I’ve honed over 30 years and four continents.

And from the best seats in the house, too — your house.

So, put on your favourite slippers, grab the rustliest bag of sweets you like and have your evening out – in! Just fire up YouTube on your favourite Smart TV, tablet or computer and let me transport you to the West End.

Keeping the Lights On is brought you to in support of The Leatherhead Theatre. It will be available to stream from 7pm on Friday 27th until 10pm on Sunday 29th November right here, on this page.

‘Admission’ is free, but this year has been hard on both performing artists and the venues they call home. You can do your bit towards “keeping the lights on” by making a donation below, which will be shared between me and The Leatherhead Theatre. We both thank you in advance for your support.
